 Bakersfield, CA

This 5400 sq ft. house in Bakersfield, CA was experiencing cold nights and very hot days. Wanting to install air conditioning would mean unsightly registers that detract from the homes luxury interior. To combat this problem, Gabriel Cioffi, of Star Temp suggested the Unico system.

 

 Classic Home - Chicago

This 5400 sq. ft., early 20th century home was in need of some upgrades. The owners completely rebuilt it in classic Victorian style. No detail was overlooked, including the need for central heating for the cold Chicago winters. With no room for conventional, and the owners wanting total comfort, Adam Henrich, of Unique Indoor Comfort, knew that the Unico System was the answer.

 

 Mesa, AZ

After having their primary home outfitted with Unico, the Marcus’ knew that they wanted the superior comfort for their brand new summer home as well. They contacted Bryce Johnson, with Air conditioning by Jay, to install it for them.

In the mountains of Park City, UT lies a middle earth inspired home based on the Lord of The Rings trilogy. Not wanting to notice the HVAC system, they decided on the Unico System to heat and cool their home. With the silence of the Unico System and the Unichillers placed nearly 300 feet away from the home, they were able to keep the middle earth feel but with all the modern conveniences we enjoy today.

 

 Teton Ranch

Wanting the modern conveniences of an HVAC system, but not wanting to compromise the integrity of the exposed wood or see any outlets, the owners of this 20,000 sq ft log home didn’t make it easy for the installing contractors. That’s why they decided on the Unico System paired with the Unichiller. With the Unichillers placed a little less than 300 ft away from the home and the Unico Systems small duct, the owners were ecstatic about not seeing the HVAC system, but still feeling the benefits.

When designing a home that needs to meet the strict government regulations in order to obtain the lofty goal of a LEED certified home, it’s important that you choose certain products that will give you the points necessary to achieve that specific goal. When the architecture students at the University of Kentucky were designing what would soon become the first LEED certified home in the state of Kentucky, their research found The Unico System to be the best fit to help them reach that important objective – LEED certification.

The owners of this contemporary home designed it to have lots of open space and also to be very energy efficient. Utilizing solar power, a 95% efficient boiler and low temperature radiant heat, it made perfect sense to use The Unico System for their cooling needs.
