Compton Heights

An architectural jewel that was built in the early 1900’s not only sat at the mercy of the cold St. Louis winters, but the oppressive summers as well. Wanting to upgrade, but not wanting to disturb the interior of the old home, the owners decided on the Unico System to combat all of these problems.

 

 Dairy Barn

Due to virtually no space for traditional duct work, the owners of this dairy barn turned home, decided to turn to the Unico system for their air conditioning needs. Jamie Gerdsen of Apollo Heating and Cooling was chosen to put the system in to not only condition the air, but also to not interrupt the homes overall look and feel.

 

 Migani Residence

After a bone marrow transplant to combat her Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and doctors fearing infection due to her depleted immune system, young Giulia needed to be quarantined in her home for an entire year, without any contact to the outside air. The problem her family faced was not having a central air conditioning system to not only keep the house comfortable without having to open windows, but also to filter the air so that it remains as pure as possible, minimizing the risk of infection. Giulia's father, an architect, was familiar with small-duct, high velocity systems and contacted Matt Arendholz of Marlin Mechanical to install the Unico System in their home.

 

 

 Tazewell Log Home

When looking for a home that was equidistant from their two children, the Kramers knew they wanted a log home, yet wanted to have the comfort of any other home. When they found out that this 2100 sq ft. model log home came equipped with the Unico System, their choice to purchase was that much easier.

 

 Trumble

Needing to find a way to condition the air of a 7600 sq. ft house that’s over 60% glass proved difficult. That is until Tom Morrell of Coolray Heat & Air decided that Unico was the best option for the job. Not only did Unico provide an efficient way to zone the house, but it helped preserve the architectural as well as the historical elements of the home.

 

 Monolithic Dome Home

Faced with the task of heating and cooling a 5,300 square foot monolithic dome home, GLC Services had numerous challenges to consider. With no attic and the home being made completely of concrete, GLC Services decided that The Unico System was the only answer.

 

 Chevy Chase, MD

Having a home that’s over 6,000 square feet, the owners of this house in Chevy Chase, MD didn’t want the sight of 5 condensing units outside of their brand new modern home. Neither did the contractor. That’s why Dan Foley of Foley Mechanical suggested using the UniChiller RC in place of the bulky condensing units. Just two UniChiller RC units are doing the job of 5 traditional condensing units in less space.

 

 Bernstein Residence

After renovating their 4300 sq. ft. home in Hanover, NH, the owners started to experience problems associated with their air conditioning. The basement had very high moisture levels and the third floor became extremely hot during the summer months. The owners finally contacted Eugene Boisvert Plumbing & Heating, who suggested The Unico System to remedy these problems.

 

 Donahue Residence

When the owners decided they were going to renovate their home and add on a 650 sq. ft. living room addition, they thought they were going to use mini splits as the primary source of air conditioning. That is, until they saw the look and performance of The Unico System. Eugene Boisvert Plumbing & Heating recommended the system because of the potential heat gain with the large windows, coupled with the fact that the living room had very high ceilings which left little room for traditional ductwork. And now, the owners couldn’t be happier with their decision.

About 100 miles away from the bustling New York city sits this 1800 sq. ft. home on Shelter Island. Because the owners already have a Unico System in their main home, they knew about all the benefits of the system. That’s why they asked Innovative Air Solutions, who installed the first system, to make the 2.5 hour drive from the city to do the installation.
