Clean Room
Due to high technologies at this Caterpillar plant in Lafayette, IN, this enclosure needed to be a constant 68 degrees, with the gradient being plus or minus one degree. In addition to this, the airflow in the room needed to be virtually the same, top to bottom. Knowing these challenges, Jim Hennesy of Gateway Air decided that the Unico System was the best option.

Funeral Home
With inadequate ductwork, a 70 year-old boiler, a noisy heating system and hot and cold spots throughout, this funeral home in Troy, NY was in desperate need of an upgrade for their air conditioning. The owner contacted Ed Bishop at Advanced Heating Concepts, who chose to use the Unico System as the answer to these challenges.

Glacier Quilts
With the employees experiencing hot and cold flashes at various times of the day, Glacier quilts knitting and fabric store in Kalispell, MT wanted to upgrade their forced air furnaces to something that could provide better comfort. Lutheran Church
This beautiful, 46 year old Lutheran church had just one problem. During the summer months, the interior became unbearably hot. After realizing installing conventional air conditioning would only ruin the interior of the church with traditional metal ductwork, the pastor of the church turned to Schulte and Sons Heating, who recommended the Unico system to remedy the issue.

Marylhurst University
Located south of Portland, Oregon, Marylhurst University is the subject of this months feature installation. Marylhurst was faced with the issue of replacing the central plant steam boiler and adding central air conditioning to the historic BP John Administration building. Dantech Heating and Cooling, of Eagle Creek, OR decided Unico was the best option. With Unico, they were able to maintain the historical look of the building with very little modifications to the system.

Monroe College
Not wanting to ruin the aesthetics of the 100 year old, 15,000 sq ft. building by dropping ceilings for conventional ductwork, the administrators at Monroe College turned to Airdyne, Inc. to install the Unico System. Airdyne installed 11 5-ton Unico air handlers paired with York condensing units to finally provide the building with air conditioning.

Due to high summer temperatures in the mechanic bay at G&C Honda, worker productivity was low and absenteeism was high.
