Unico, Inc. is a Cornerstone Partner of the American Institute of Architects and a registered provider of
Continuing Education to the architectural community. Unico, Inc. is a strong supporter of the AIA and its
affiliate organizations. Unico, Inc. demonstrates its support in the following ways:

The Unico System and the Historic Resources Committee of the AIA:
The Unico System is the premiere solution for maintaining architectural integrity when it comes to historic
preservation. No other HVAC manufacturer is more aligned with the mission of the Historic Resources Committee
(HRC). Our combined goal is to identify, understand, and preserve architectural heritage, both nationally and
internationally. HRC and Unico, Inc. are engaged in promoting the role of the historic architect within the
profession through the development of information and knowledge among members, allied professional
organizations, and the public. Unico, Inc. backs up this commitment by sponsoring the travel costs of the
student winners of the Charles E. Peterson Prize. An award which recognizes the winners of the annual HRC
student competition for measured drawings.

American Architecture Foundation (AAF): Unico, Inc. is a proud corporate supporter of the AAF. Housed in the historic Octagon House, the American Architecture Foundation (AAF) educates individuals and communities about the power of architecture to transform lives and improve the places where we live, learn, work, and play. AAF inspires people to become thoughtful and engaged stewards of the built environment.
