A) Yes, Unico Preferred Contractors are the best of our authorized Unico Contractors. They have invested in Unico’s training programs. The end result for the end user often translates to an upgraded Residential Extended Ten-Year Limited Warranty for products installed by a registered Unico Preferred Contractor. Q) Do you provide any design assistance or services?
A) Yes, if you have a project that needs design assistance, we offer a free service which includes a Duct Design and an estimated materials list. All you need to do is submit your plans and our Design Team will contact you for more information. Visit Design Services for an overview of the process.

A) Yes, while we encourage you to maintain your distributor relationships, and enjoy the buying advantages your distributor can uniquely provide, you are eligible to purchase online and to qualify for personalized pricing. You can create an account to see your personalized pricing and the MSRP of the Unico portfolio of products. Accounts are based on approval, and pricing is based on your profile type (meaning, contractors receive contractor pricing).
Q) Do I need to place an order to have a Unico Account?
A) No, you do not need to place an initial order to set up a Unico account.
Q) Are there any benefits to being a Unico Preferred Contractor?
A) Yes, when registering your customers product as a Unico Preferred Contractor, you can double the warranty on products from five years to ten years with a qualified installation. This benefit is a great selling point to your customer.
Q) How do I become a Unico Preferred Contractor?
A) On the Unico website, submit the UPC Onboarding Registration form and our Unico Customer Care team will be in contact to complete the process.
Q) Do you provide any design assistance or services?

Q) What if the product lead times are too long?
A) You can choose the speed and delivery method to attain your product (via a distributor or website) and you also have shipping options on a variety of products.
Q) Will my order ship immediately?
A) At Unico we strive to fill and ship orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. If an order is received by 1:00 p.m. (on air UPS) central time it routinely will ship the same day. On LTL shipments, if the order is placed by 9:30 a.m. it is shipped within 1-3 business days.
Q) How are returns processed?
A) Returns are reviewed and processed as quickly as possible. For a return authorization to be granted on defective products, the unit model must be previously registered for warranty with Unico, Inc. For more details on all returns (i.e. damaged, wrong part ordered, etc.), please review our Returns Policy.
Q) How do I register my customer’s warranty?
A) Registering your customer's product for warranty may be done by completing and submitting the Unico Product Registration form.
Q) What are the various warranty levels offered by Unico?
A) Our standard warranty on all Unico System parts and pieces is one full year from the date of installation:
- Five Year: Unico, Inc. is pleased to extend our limited parts warranty for an additional four years when a Unico Preferred Contractor installs the system. The four-year extension is applicable only to The Unico System serial numbered products.
- Ten Year: When the system is installed by a Unico Preferred Contractor and registered within 90 days of install, Unico will extend the warranty for an additional five years. Giving your, your customer, a Unico System 10-year Limited Parts Warranty. An installed system must include a blower and coil to qualify for this extended warranty.
Q) How can I have a preferred spot on the Unico Contractor locator?
A) Preferential ranking or awareness is provided to those Unico Contractors who invest and participate in the various forms of Unico training, and/or who do multiple installs or invest in promoting the Unico brand via their website with a Unico landing page or with Unico content and logo on their website.
Unico has created various “Badges” which reflect the various areas of accomplishment the contractor has attained. The more “Unico Badges” a contractor has earned the better the ranking on the contractor locator. See examples of Badges and their description at Find A Contractor under "More about our Contractors".
