UNICO FITS YOUR LIFESTYLE
What is Unico?
Small is Huge
Adding air conditioning to your home can be a daunting task. What is the best system for my home? Will it fit? Do I have to add soffits? Who's the right contractor? How much will it cost?
Unico is the best air conditioning system on the market. Yes, that's a bold statement, but mainly because it's true. Here's why:
The Unico System is small, a lot smaller than conventional systems. And that plays to your advantage in a big way. So, whether you are adding air conditioning to your existing home, building a new custom home, or simply replacing an old system, the Unico System will fit where other systems can't.
And that's only the beginning.
Instead of conventional ductwork, flexible supply tubing is fitted into existing wall cavities, ceilings or floors. Modular air handlers—small enough to fit into closets, attics, ceilings, crawl spaces or basements—are powerful enough to effectively circulate air throughout your home. Even though its footprint is small, the Unico System delivers the same level of cooling as a conventional system three times its size.
Our supply tubing is designed to be as quiet and efficient as possible, with a nylon inner core and insulation that absorb sound. Our air handlers are designed to isolate noise and vibration, with closed cell, sound-deadening insulation. Together, they bring decibel levels to the equivalent of a soft whisper. While you'll feel the comfort, you'll hardly notice it's running.
Draft-Free, Even Temperatures
Traditional systems distribute air unevenly, dumping air into rooms, creating drafts and uneven temperatures throughout different parts of the room. The Unico System uses a principle called aspiration, creating a gentle suction around itself that draws the room air into its stream of cooled air. This delivers even, draft free cooling, from room to room, floor to floor, and floor to ceiling. The temperature differential is no greater than 2 degrees throughout your home.
Comfortable by Design
The Unico System removes up to 30% more humidity than conventional air conditioning and heating systems. So, you can keep your thermostat a few degrees higher to achieve the same level of comfort—and that saves on energy costs.

Understanding Installation Costs
The Unico System is competitively priced when compared to the installed cost of conventional HVAC. Because the Unico System requires little to no remodeling to install (no ugly soffits), build-out costs are virtually eliminated, providing you a far superior system for essentially the same costs as a conventional system!
The Unico System is uniquely designed and built to fit the specifications of your home. Our system is modular, giving you options for heating, cooling, or both. Each home is different, and because of that, it is very difficult for Unico to accurately price your specific project. We leave that to our Unico Preferred Contractors, as they are the experts.
A Unico Preferred Contractor will be able to provide you an in-home consultation and meet with you to discover your wants and needs, then put together a total system that will best condition your home.
Pricing will vary based on the labor costs by market, as well as the size of your home and the type of home you have, i.e.: new construction versus an older home that requires a retrofit. A Unico Preferred Contractor will provide you a quote for the total installation for your home after your in-home consultation.
Factors that can affect the cost of an installation include: climate and region where you live, construction and age of your home, condition of existing duct work, difficulty of project, special product features, etc.

Important Notice
The Unico System is an AHRI listed and matched HVAC system designed to be installed by a qualified, licensed HVAC contractor per Unico’s installation instructions.
Many states and local jurisdictions have specific requirements for contractors to be trained and licensed before installing HVAC systems. Many local building codes require specific installation design, methodology permitting and testing before an HVAC system can be operated.
Unico recommends you select your qualified installing contractor before purchasing equipment so the contractor can assure the system is designed and sized correctly, matched to any auxiliary equipment and compliant with local codes and requirements.
Unico does not provide a warranty for equipment installations that are not performed by a licensed HVAC contractor.
